Neeraj Chopra Wins Silver in Javelin at Paris Olympics

Paris-  Indian javelin thrower Neeraj Chopra delivered an outstanding performance at the Paris Olympics 2024, earning a silver medal with a throw of 89.45 meters. Despite a foul on his first attempt, Neeraj made a remarkable comeback in his second attempt, securing his best throw of the season. However, his subsequent attempts were fouls, leaving him with a silver medal.

Pakistani athlete Arshad Nadeem stole the spotlight by setting a new Olympic record with a 92.97-meter throw on his second attempt. He further cemented his victory with a final throw of 91.79 meters, claiming the gold medal. This marks Pakistan's first Olympic medal since the 1992 Barcelona Olympics. Anderson Peters of Grenada secured the bronze medal with a throw of 88.54 meters.
