Manu Bhaker Returns Home After Winning Two Olympic Medals

New Delhi- India's star shooter Manu Bhaker returned home on Wednesday after winning two medals at the Paris Olympics 2024. She received a rousing welcome at the Indira Gandhi International Airport in Delhi.

Fans greeted Manu Bhaker and her coach Jaspal Rana with drums and garlands, creating a festive atmosphere. Many took selfies with the celebrated shooter, who appeared delighted by the grand reception. Speaking to the media, Manu expressed her joy and gratitude for the overwhelming support and love from the people.

The 22-year-old has made the nation proud by securing two bronze medals in the Paris Olympics. Manu opened India's medal tally with a bronze in the women's 10m air pistol event. She added another bronze in the 10m air pistol mixed team event alongside Sarabjot Singh.

Manu Bhaker's remarkable achievement made her the first Indian of independent India to win two medals in a single Olympics. She narrowly missed a historic third medal, finishing fourth in the women's 25m pistol event.
