Gandhinagar – Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel interacted with 18 youth selected for the Sardar Patel Good Governance CM Fellowship Program on Sunday. These fellows attended a program at the Chief Minister's residence in Gandhinagar to exchange experiences and receive guidance.
Chief Minister Patel emphasized the unique opportunity the fellows have to utilize their acquired knowledge and skills for societal welfare. He highlighted that their contributions would not only benefit them personally but also aid in future policy making and program implementation for millions. Patel praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi's governance spirit aimed at the welfare of the common man and stressed that the fellowship program is designed to channel the innovative energy of bright youth into administrative systems.
Encouraging the fellows, Patel noted that Gujarat offers an excellent environment for their work, with no funding issues for implementing schemes or new initiatives. He urged the fellows to bring forth their best ideas and assured them of the government's support. Patel suggested holding a review meeting every three months for continuous guidance and to incorporate their suggestions into government initiatives.
The program also saw discussions with Chief Advisor to the Chief Minister Dr. Hasmukh Adhia, Chief Secretary Raj Kumar, and Additional Chief Secretaries Pankaj Joshi and Manoj Kumar Das. Secretary to the Chief Minister Avantika Singh provided detailed information about the CM Fellowship and introduced the fellows. Principal Secretary of the General Administration Department (GAD) M.
