Surat: Harmeet Desai, Surat's table tennis star, representing India in the Paris Olympics, has once again brought laurels to the country. He has entered the main draw of men's singles by defeating Jordan's Zaid Abo Yemen 4-0 in the preliminary round held at South Paris Arena. This victory has sparked joy across the nation, particularly in Surat.
The 31-year-old Harmeet will now compete against Felix Lebrun of France in the round of 64. His parents, Archana and Rajul Desai, expressed immense happiness over his triumph.
