Bhutan King and PM Conclude Gujarat Visit

Ahmedabad-  The 3-day visit of Bhutan King Jigme Khesar Namgyal Wangchuck and Prime Minister Tshering Tobgay to Gujarat concluded with an emotional farewell. Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel personally saw off the dignitaries at Ahmedabad airport on Wednesday.

State Protocol Minister Jagdish Vishwakarma, India's Ambassador to Bhutan Sudhakar Dalela, State Chief Secretary Raj Kumar, State Director General of Police Vikas Sahay, Joint Secretary of the Ministry of External Affairs Anurag Srivastava, Joint Police Commissioner of Ahmedabad Ajay Chaudhary, Chief Protocol Officer Jwalant Trivedi, Ahmedabad District Collector Praveena D.K., and other high-ranking officials were also present to bid farewell to the Bhutanese King and Prime Minister.

Before departing, King Wangchuck and Prime Minister Tobgay took an aerial tour of Ahmedabad city, witnessing its impressive development from a helicopter. Both dignitaries expressed their admiration for the progress and transformation of the World Heritage City, Ahmedabad.
