PM Modi condemns Donald Trump shooting: 'Violence has no place in politics’

New Delhi, 14 July (HS): Heads of state around the world have expressed concern over the attack on former US President and Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump during an election rally. Prime Minister Narendra Modi posted on Twitter on Sunday morning that he is deeply concerned about the attack on his 'friend' Donald Trump.

Prime Minister Modi wrote on X, "I am deeply concerned by the attack on Friend Donald Trump. I strongly condemn this incident. There is no place for violence in politics and democracy. I wish him a speedy recovery. Our thoughts and prayers go out to the families of the slain, the injured, and the American people."

It is noteworthy that during a rally in Butler, Pennsylvania on Saturday evening, US time, bullets were fired targeting Donald Trump, former US President and presidential candidate in the upcoming elections from the Republican Party.

A bullet passed through Trump's ear. In the video of the incident that has surfaced, blood can be seen coming out from Trump's ear.

Trump is out of danger after this incident.
