Alert driver saves life of 30 passengers in Nepal from landslide
Incident in area where 65 people reported missing

Kathmandu, 12 July (HS): When 65 passengers of two buses fell victim to a landslide in Narayangadh-Mungling region, driver of another bus laid his life
to save 30 passengers on board.
According to local officers, a bus with 30 passengers on board was coming from Butwal when the driver Meghraj Wik saw a big rock rolling down towards
his bus. The stone fell on the windscreen of the bus. Meghraj immediately applied the brakes. He suffered injuries but saved the lives of the passengers. He prevented the bus from going down the ravine.
Meghraj (36) was seriously injured and succumbed to the injuries on the way to the hospital because of excessive bleeding.
