Mumbai-Goa highway to be partially blocked from July 11 for 3 days

Mumbai, 10 July (HS): A major block on Mumbai-Goa Highway from July 11 to 13 has been announced, because of the installation work of girders on new Mhaisdara bridge at Pui near Kolad. The road will be blocked in two phases between 6 am and 8 and, and 2 pm and 4 pm.

The travellers on these routes can take alternative routes. Those going to Goa from Mumbai can take:
1. Wakan Fata to Bhise Khind-Roha-Kalad to Mumbai-Goa highway.
2. From Wakant Fata to Pali-Rawalje-Kolad or Pali-Rawalje-Nizampur-Mangaon and then onto the highway.
3. Vehicles on Khopoli-Pali-Wakan national highway can take Pali-Rawalje-Kolad or Pali-Rawalje—Nizampur-Mangaon to Mumbai-Goa Highway.

For those going to Mumbai from Goa, the alternative routes are
1. From Kolad to Rohe-Bhise Khind-Wakan Fata or from Nagothane to the highway.
2. From Kolad to Rawalje-Pali-Khopoli and to the national highway.
3. From Kolad to Rawalje-Pali-Wakan Fat to highway.
