Investigation in Godhra's Jai Jalaram School continues as new suspects emerge

Surat : CBI Questions Students, Parents in NEET-UG Paper Leak Probe

Godhra – On Thursday, the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) team investigating the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET-UG) paper leak case questioned six students from Gujarat and their parents. This marks the fourth day of the ongoing investigation.

The NEET-UG paper leak, which occurred at Jai Jalaram School in Parwadi, Godhra, caused nationwide outrage. An FIR was filed, and the state government subsequently transferred the investigation to the CBI. The CBI has since been stationed in Godhra to conduct the probe.

On Wednesday, the CBI visited Jai Jalaram International School in Thermal, Kheda district, accompanied by local police officers. The NEET exam was held at both Godhra and Thermal centers of Jai Jalaram School. Initially, the Panchmahal District Police's Special Investigation Team arrested five individuals, including the exam center superintendent, in connection with the leak. Based on candidate interrogations and their statements, more suspects are likely to be identified, leading to further arrests.
