CM Bhupendra Patel Advocates for 'Developed Gujarat' through Education

Gandhinagar - In line with Prime Minister Narendra Modi's vision of a 'Developed India,' Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel has underscored the significance of 'Developed Gujarat' as a foundation for educational progress. Addressing the 21st state-wide School Entrance Festival program in Biliamba, a tribal border village in Dang district, Chief Minister Patel highlighted the state government's efforts to provide top-notch educational facilities to remote areas.

Enrollment in Tribal Areas

Chief Minister Patel personally enrolled 127 children in various educational institutions, including Bal Vatika, Anganwadi, and primary and secondary schools. Interacting with students at Biliamba Primary School, he demonstrated his commitment to education by engaging with them directly and reviewing their work. A class 5 student, Drishti, expressed her joy at meeting the Chief Minister, fulfilling her dream of seeing him up close.

Community Involvement in Education

During his address, Chief Minister Patel stressed the importance of community involvement in education. He urged parents, the School Management Committee (SMC), and teachers to actively participate in the educational development of children, fulfilling their social responsibilities alongside the government's efforts to enhance school facilities through the Shala Praveshotsav program.

Educational Facilities in Tribal Regions

The state government has made significant strides in providing educational infrastructure in tribal areas, including Science Colleges, Science Faculty Schools, and Medical Colleges along the tribal belt from Ambaji to Umargam. Chief Minister Patel inspected the computer lab, classrooms, and other amenities at the school, including a drip irrigation system for the school plantation.

Environmental Message

To promote environmental awareness, Chief Minister Patel planted a neem sapling in the school campus. He lauded the achievements of former students, such as Dr. Ankita Kunwar, a doctor benefiting from the 'Kanya Kelvani' (girl education) initiative, runner Murali Gavit, mountaineer Bhovan Rathod, and Aviraj Chaudhary, who is currently studying at the Indian Institute of Management (IIM).

Community Leaders and Officials Present

Deputy Chief Whip and MLA of Dang district Vijaybhai Patel welcomed the Chief Minister and urged villagers to leverage various government schemes for development. Collector Mahesh Patel detailed the program's outline and the district's features. The event was attended by District Panchayat President Nirmalaben, BJP President Kishorbhai Patel, Organization In-charge Rajeshbhai Desai, State Tribal Front Minister Subhashbhai Gain, and numerous local officials, parents, and students.
