Gujarat CM Flags Off 'Messengers on Cycle' Rally in Ahmedabad

Gandhinagar – Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel on Sunday flagged off the 'Messengers on Cycle' rally from HL College of Commerce Campus in Ahmedabad. Organized by Sense International India, this charity ride supported the disabled and celebrated the 144th birth anniversary of American writer Helen Keller.

Helen Keller, a renowned American writer who overcame her disabilities, inspired the world with her writings and achievements. The 'Messengers on Cycle' event, held for the 10th time, saw a large turnout of cyclists and runners, all enthusiastic to support and encourage the disabled.

A special deafblindness zone was set up to increase awareness by allowing the general public to experience deafblindness. The rally featured a 15 km route for cyclists and a 5 km route for runners, with water, hydration, and medical teams stationed along the way. Volunteers from various organizations and a significant number of health-conscious citizens participated, making the event a resounding success.
