Accused arrested from Gujarat for threatening to kill MLA Ravindra Singh Bhati

Barmer, 23 June (HS): The accused who threatened to kill the district's Shiv MLA Ravindra Singh Bhati on social media has been arrested from Gujarat. The accused had uploaded a threatening video on May 15. Ahmedabad Crime Police arrested him from Kalupur Railway Station. At present, Ahmedabad Police is interrogating the youth.

Ahmedabad Crime Branch Police Inspector Mahendra Shalunke said that Kishanlal alias Kesharam, who threatened the MLA, has been caught from Kalupur Railway Station. He is wanted in the robbery case registered in Gida police station. Gida police has been informed. He will be handed over on Sunday. There are photos with weapons on his Instagram ID. The accused is a resident of Pareu village in Gida police station area of Balotra. He is wanted in a robbery case in Gida police station. He told the police that there was a pistol and cartridges under the seat of a bike in Gida area. After this, on the request of Ahmedabad Police, Gida Police went to the location and recovered the pistol and cartridges.

Kishanlal said in the video - Bhati is spreading the poison of casteism and uploaded a one minute 26 second video on social media on May 15. It said- A video came a few days ago. He (Bhati) is threatening in writing?why is he not threatening openly. I want to tell him, Ravindra Singh will be killed openly, that too as soon as possible. Whatever you want to do, do it. Repeatedly comments about our folk deities. What does he want to do by spreading this kind of casteism? It is said about our folk gods died after drinking alcohol. They died in a road accident and now you are making offerings to them. The accused Kisnaram is wanted by Gida police station. He has created an Instagram ID by the name KD Don Barmer, on which he shared photos with weapons.
