BJP Celebrates 44th Foundation Day with Nationwide Fanfare

Surat: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) celebrated its 44th Foundation Day on April 6 with great enthusiasm and fanfare across India. Surat City BJP President Niranjan Jhanjmera commemorated the occasion by hoisting the party flag at the Pandit Deen Dayal Bhawan BJP office.

In every ward of Surat, BJP workers organized programs at designated locations to mark the party's Foundation Day. The BJP was founded on April 6, 1980, at 1:00 pm, and the party annually celebrates this day to honor its establishment.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed party workers via a live broadcast, urging them to begin preparations for the grand celebration of the party's 50th anniversary and the country's 100th year of independence. He called on workers to focus on improving the well-being of citizens. In his speech, the Prime Minister recounted the party's development journey since its inception, attributing its growth to the hard work and dedication of its workers. Today, the BJP stands as the largest political party in the world.

The Prime Minister's speech and the hoisting of the party flag in every ward of Surat city captivated all those present. The week has been declared "Good Governance Week" as part of the celebrations. Numerous workers, including General Secretary Kishore Bindal, Chairman of Standing Committee Pareshbhai Patel, Somnath Marathe, and ward councilors, were present at the event, along with the City President.
