According to sources, the inspection was resumed following a hiatus after the Rajkot Gamezone tragedy. Typically, the Municipal Corporation conducts periodic checks on food establishments, taking legal action against those found selling low-quality or adulterated food. However, post-Rajkot, the focus shifted to sealing campaigns, leading to a temporary reduction in food item inspections.
