In a tragic accident on Jamnagar Road, Rajkot, a Class 12 student lost his life in a collision between a truck and a bike. The incident occurred near the Dwarkadhish Petrol Pump when a truck hit the bike, causing both riders to fall onto the road.
Raj Samerva, a resident of Rajkot's government housing quarters, was returning from the Mataji temple with his friend Sanjay when the accident happened. Raj died instantly, while Sanjay sustained injuries and was rushed to the hospital for treatment.
The truck driver fled the scene immediately after the accident. The Gandhigram police were promptly informed and arrived at the location to investigate. They notified the victim's family, who were devastated upon seeing Raj's body.
Raj was the younger of two brothers and a student at Shreyas School on Jamnagar Road. The police have registered a case and are actively investigating to apprehend the truck driver responsible for the fatal accident.
