Tractor trolley falls from bridge in MP, five dead, 35 injured

Bhopal, June 14 (HS): Friday proved to be a painful day for the devotees of Mata Ratangarh in Madhya Pradesh. In Datia district of the state, a tractor trolley full of devotees went out of control and overturned on the bridge and fell down. In this accident, five devotees died on the spot, while 35 people were badly injured. The deceased include women and girls.

This accident happened near village Jora Maithana Pali of Dusarda police station area. This accident happened due to sudden failure of the steering of the tractor. The incident happened between four and five in the morning. All the villagers were going to offer Jaware in Ratangarh temple. In this painful accident, Sonam (15) daughter of Chandan Ahirwar, Kranti (17) daughter of Naval Kishore Kewat, Seema (35) wife of Naval Kishore, Kamini (19) daughter of Naval Kishore and one name could not be confirmed at the moment have lost their lives.

The number of women and children among the injured is high. All of them have been admitted to the district hospital. The condition of many of them is said to be critical. After receiving information about the accident, in-charge collector Kamlesh Bhargava and SP Virendra Mishra reached the spot and all the injured were admitted to Datia district hospital through 108 ambulance.
