By-elections announced on 14 assembly seats in seven states, voting on July 10

New Delhi, June 10 (HS): The Election Commission on Monday announced by-elections on 14 assembly seats in seven states. Voting will be held on all these seats on July 10. According to the commission, notification for this will be issued on June 14 and voting will be held on July 10.

The seats on which by-elections are to be held are Rupauli of Bihar, Raiganj, Ranaghat South (SC), Bagda (SC), Maniktala of West Bengal, Vikravandi of Tamil Nadu, Amarwara (ST) of Madhya Pradesh, Badrinath, Mangalore of Uttarakhand, Jalandhar West (SC) of Punjab, Dehra, Hamirpur and Nalagarh of Himachal Pradesh. These seats have fallen vacant due to resignation or death of MLAs.
