Surat - A four-storey building in Surat's Adajan Patiya area experienced a slab collapse late last night, causing damage to two cars parked below. The incident occurred at the Suryakriti apartment building, where a portion of the terrace gallery suddenly fell, creating chaos among residents.
As the loud explosion startled residents, many rushed outside, and the fire department and police were quickly notified. Upon arrival, the fire department removed debris and any additional damaged slabs from the area.
Thankfully, no casualties were reported in this incident involving the 25-year-old building. However, the falling slab did cause significant damage to one car and minor damage to another parked below the fourth floor.
