Media Mogul Ramoji Rao Passes Away in Hyderabad

Hyderabad/Delhi, 8 June (H.S): The passing of Ramoji Rao, the head of Ramoji Film City and ETV network, has left the film and media industry in shock. The 87-year-old, also known as Cherukuri Ramoji Rao, died while undergoing treatment in Hyderabad.

On Friday, June 7, his health took a turn for the worse and he was moved from his residence in Ramoji Film City to a private hospital in Nankramguda. With a successful career as a media baron and film producer, Rao was the founder of Ushakiran Movies and had won numerous National Awards and Filmfares. He was also the chairman of Dolphin Group of Hotels.

His contribution to the entertainment industry will always be remembered and he will be greatly missed by all those who knew him. His legacy will continue to live on through his work and the impact he has made in the world of media.
