Woman Bus Conductor in Junagadh Returns Rs 10 Lakh Bag

Junagadh – Demonstrating exceptional honesty, a woman bus conductor in Junagadh has set an inspiring example by returning a bag containing Rs 10 lakh to her depot manager. The incident occurred on a Junagadh-Porbandar-Dwarka route bus operated by the Dwarka depot.

The passenger, traveling from Junagadh to Kutiana, disembarked at Kutiana and accidentally left behind a bag with Rs 10 lakh. Upon finding the bag, conductor Darshanaben Kanagad promptly handed it over to Porbandar depot station in-charge H M Rughani.

When the station in-charge opened the bag, it was found to be full of money. The depot station in-charge then informed the passenger, who sent a relative to retrieve the bag. In the presence of the passenger's relative, the depot's traffic controller, and a clerk, the money was counted and recorded as lost property according to regulations. The Kamlabagh police station was notified, and the money will be returned to its rightful owner after completing the necessary legal procedures.

Depot manager PB Makwana and other officials commended Darshanaben Kanagad for her integrity and honesty, reinforcing that such values still thrive in today's society.
