Gujarat Legislative Assembly Conducts Workshop on Parliamentary Procedures
A two-day parliamentary workshop on 15th and 16th February is to educate elected public representatives about parliamentary procedures
The Gujarat Legislative Assembly is organizing a two-day parliamentary workshop on 15th and 16th February to educate elected public representatives about parliamentary procedures. The workshop will be inaugurated at 11 a.m. on February 15th by Lok Sabha Speaker Shri Om Birla, with Chief Minister Shri Bhupendra Patel as the special guest. The closing ceremony will be held on February 16th under the chairmanship of Governor Shri Acharya Devvrat.
The workshop will cover more than ten topics, with sessions held by Parliament experts, specialists, and experts in various fields. The topics to be covered include the role of people's representatives in parliamentary democracy, parliamentary procedures, stress management, the role of constitutional institutions in building a strong democracy, and more.
According to the Chairman of the Legislative Assembly, Shri Shankarbhai Chaudhary, elected MLAs of all parties, Members of Parliament, former speakers, former Chief Ministers, former Deputy Chief Ministers, and citizens will participate in the workshop.
The two-day workshop aims to provide practical knowledge about parliamentary procedures, strengthen the understanding of the roles and responsibilities of public representatives, and facilitate efficient functioning of the assembly.
