Road accident in Ambala, 7 devotees going to visit Vaishno Mata killed
Ambala, 24 May (HS). Seven people died in a road accident in Ambala district of Haryana, while 19 people are injured in this accident. All these people were going by traveler to visit Vaishno Mata shrine. This accident happened due to the traveler colliding with the trolley running ahead. The dead also included a six-month-old girl and a couple.
All the people are said to be from Bulandshahr in Uttar Pradesh. This accident happened near Mohra on Ambala-Delhi Highway at around 2 o'clock in the night. There were a total of 26 people in the traveller.
In this accident, a part of the Traveler was completely damaged. Some of the injured were trapped in the traveler. On hearing the screams, the passers-by rescued the injured and with the help of the police, and were admitted to Ambala Cantonment Civil Hospital and Adesh Hospital through ambulance. Dr. Kaushal Kumar of Civil Hospital has confirmed the number of dead.
Injured Dheeraj told Mohda police that they had left for Vaishno Devi on the evening of 23 May and all are members of the same family. As soon as he reached Mohda, suddenly a vehicle came in front of the trolley. As soon as the trolley applied brakes, the traveler went out of control and collided. The deceased include Vinod, Manoj, Guddi, Maher Chand, Satbir, 6-month-old Deepti and one other person.
Among the injured, only Rajindra, Kavita, Vansh, Sumit, Saroj, Naveen, Lalta Prasad, Anuradha, Shivani, Adarsh, Radhika and Dheeraj could be identified. Police say that the accident is being investigated. The condition of many injured is very critical.
