New Delhi, May 24 (HS): Doordarshan is going to achieve another milestone on May 26. After nine years of immense success, DD Kisan is going to transform and new from Sunday. This information has been given in the release of the Press Information Bureau (PIB) of the Central Government. This change will be the biggest gift to the farmers of the country.
According to the PIB release, in this era of Artificial Intelligence (AI), it is going to be the first government TV channel in the country where all eyes will be on the AI anchor. Doordarshan Kisan is going to launch two AI anchors AI Krish and AI Bhoomi. Both news anchors are computers, which are exactly like humans and can work just like humans. This anchor can read news 24 hours and 365 days without stopping or getting tired.
Farmers will be able to watch them in all the states of the country from Kashmir to Tamil Nadu and from Gujarat to Arunachal Pradesh. These AI anchors will convey every necessary information to the farmers, be it agricultural research happening in the country and abroad, upheavals in grain markets or changes in the weather. A special thing about these anchors is that they can speak in fifty languages of the country and abroad.
Main objective of DD Kisan
-DD Kisan is the only TV channel in the country, which was established by the Government of India for the farmers. This channel was established on 26 May 2015.
-The objective of establishing DD Kisan Channel was to always keep the farmers aware about the changes in weather, global markets etc., so that the farmers can make appropriate plans in advance and take right decisions on time. DD Kisan channel has been living up to these parameters for 9 years.
-DD Kisan channel is also working to bring the efforts of progressive farmers in front of all the people, the aim of which is to serve the agricultural and rural community in the country and work towards creating an environment of overall development by educating them.
-DD Kisan channel is strengthening the three-dimensional concept of agriculture which includes balanced farming, animal husbandry and plantation.
