Ahmedabad: 4 senior doctors of medical college suspended in ragging case

Ahmedabad, May 24 (HS): Four senior doctors of Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation (AMC)-run Maninagar Narendra Modi Medical College have been suspended in a ragging case. All four senior doctors are accused of ragging their junior doctors. On the complaint of junior doctors, the matter was sent to the anti-ragging committee of the college. Strict action has been taken against all four doctors found guilty in the investigation, including two female doctors.

A complaint was made to the Anti Ragging Committee against four senior doctors at the AMC-run Maninagar Narendra Modi Medical College. According to this, junior doctors were assigned the task of refusing to take bath for 7 days, writing the same prescription 700 times, etc. Those who did not do so were harassed in various ways. After receiving the complaint in the anti-ragging committee of the college and investigating it, Dr. Vraj Vadhani has been suspended for 2 years, Dr. Shivani Patel for one year, Dr. Karan Kumar Parejia for 25 days and Dr. Aneri Nayak for 25 days.
