Amit Shah Claims NDA Will Win All 40 Bihar Seats
Patna/Bettiah : At a rally in Bettiah on Sunday, Union Home Minister Amit Shah confidently predicted a clean sweep for the NDA in Bihar, stating that all 40 seats will go to the alliance. He also claimed that the NDA has surpassed the 270-seat mark in the first four phases of the elections.
Speaking in support of BJP candidate Dr. Sanjay Jaiswal, Shah criticized Lalu Yadav's call for 100% reservation for Muslims, questioning which groups would lose their reservation benefits under such a policy. Shah accused the Indi Alliance of spreading lies and misleading the public for political gain.
Highlighting the achievements of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Shah mentioned that while Lalu Prasad never attempted to honor Karpoori Thakur with the Bharat Ratna during his tenure as Bihar's CM and a minister at the Centre, PM Modi has done so.
Addressing national security, Shah affirmed that the BJP is committed to reclaiming Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK), despite opposition from Congress leaders like Mani Shankar Aiyar and allies like Farooq Abdullah, who caution against provoking Pakistan due to its nuclear arsenal. Shah reassured the crowd that under Modi's leadership, PoK is and will remain part of India.
