Female Policeman's CPR Training Proves Lifesaving in Emergency
Cases of sudden fainting and death are rising across the state, including Surat. In a recent incident, a 22-year-old girl suddenly fainted on the road in Chowk Bazaar area. Onlookers, alarmed by the situation, rushed to help her. Concurrently, female police officers patrolling the area arrived at the scene.
One of the female officers immediately administered CPR (Cardiopulmonary resuscitation) and provided mouth-to-mouth resuscitation. The girl regained consciousness shortly after and was promptly taken to the hospital in a police vehicle.
The female officer mentioned that she learned CPR during her police training. "Today, our training saved someone’s life," she said.
This incident has drawn praise from the public, who credit the officer's swift actions with saving the young girl's life.
