Bhopal,16 May (H.S): A tragic road accident in Madhya Pradesh's Indore district claimed the lives of eight people and left one person injured. The collision between a jeep and an unidentified vehicle occurred on Wednesday on the Indore-Ahmedabad National Highway near Ghatabillod, according to Additional Superintendent of Police Rupesh Kumar Dwivedi.
The accident resulted in eight fatalities, while one person was fortunate to survive but sustained injuries. The injured person has been hospitalized for treatment. As per reports, the driver of the unidentified vehicle fled the scene after the collision.
