India’s Aadhaar Journey: JDMR Eases National Document Procurement for Citizens

New Delhi (India), May 14: In India, when questions arise regarding national identity, essential documents such as the Aadhaar card, PAN card, voter ID, birth certificate, passport, marriage certificate, and driving license serve as immediate proof of residency. However, obtaining these documents initially can be a cumbersome task. It involves registering on various online platforms to access government services, which is not always hassle-free. To streamline this process and alleviate concerns, authorized agents provide a convenient one-stop solution for all national documentation needs.

India’s heavy reliance on Aadhaar card for identity verification

Since its inception in 2009, the Aadhaar card has emerged as one of the world’s most advanced identification programs, boasting the largest biometric identity database. This national identity card has significantly transformed India’s digital landscape, introducing innovative Aadhaar payment systems and authentication infrastructure. The Aadhaar card not only empowers the underprivileged and marginalized by furnishing them with a readily verifiable identity anytime and anywhere but also facilitates seamless access to their entitled benefits.

The 12-digit unique identification number provided by Aadhaar empowers every citizen, regardless of their residence in rural or urban areas. According todata from, in the fiscal year 2023, a staggering 36.9 million Aadhaar cards were produced, adding to a cumulative tally of over 1.3 billion cards issued since its inception.

As perthe UIDAI portal, no biometric data of the child is required for issuing the Blue Aadhaar card. The UID can be processed using demographic information and parent’s UID-linked photographs. Parents can apply for their newborn’s Blue Aadhaar card with the child’s birth certificate, hospital discharge slip, or school ID.
