Tragic Accident Near Jhansi Leaves Four Dead, Two Critical
In a tragic incident near Jhansi's Pariksha Thermal Power Plant, a collision between a CNG car and a DCM truck led to a devastating fire, claiming the lives of four individuals, including the groom, and leaving two others critically injured.
The incident occurred late at night, as 25-year-old Akash Ahirwar, along with his brother Ashish, 4-year-old nephew Mayank, driver Jai Karan alias Bhagat, and two companions Ravi Ahirwar and Ramesh, was traveling in a CNG car to Baragaon Baratha for his wedding. Near Pariksha Thermal Power House in Baragaon, their car was hit from behind by a DCM vehicle, causing the CNG tank to burst into flames.
Despite efforts by passersby and the police, who arrived promptly, the groom, his brother, nephew, and driver succumbed to their injuries and died at the scene. The two companions, Ravi Ahirwar and Ramesh, sustained severe burns and are currently hospitalized in critical condition.
The news of this tragic incident has plunged both the groom's and the bride's families into deep mourning. Authorities have initiated proceedings after taking custody of the deceased and conducting post-mortem examinations.
