First Time for a Prime Minister in Bihar
Prime Minister Narendra Modi will hold a road show in support of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in the streets of Patna on Sunday. This will mark the first time in Bihar's history that a Prime Minister will participate in a road show. The BJP is working diligently to ensure that it becomes a monumental event.
According to the state BJP office, the road show will commence from the Dak Bungalow intersection (Shri Ram Chowk) and will proceed through SP Verma Road, Exhibition Road intersection via Uma Cinema, Kadamkuan, Sahitya Sammelan, Thakurbari Road, and finally Udyog Bhawan, where it will conclude. Several routes will be closed to traffic due to the Prime Minister's visit and the road show.
It has been announced that vehicles will not be allowed on Nehru Marg, Exhibition Road, and Fraser Road after Sunday afternoon. Traffic patterns will also be altered on Raj Bhawan, Kadamkuan, Nala Road, and Ashok Rajpath. Passengers traveling from Patel Golambar to the airport before 6 pm will be permitted to proceed upon displaying their tickets, after which they will need to take an alternative route.
At Patna Junction, vehicles will only be allowed from below GPO Golambar. To avoid inconvenience, the traffic police are advising passengers traveling to Patna Junction to use the Karbigahiya end to catch their trains. Only government vehicles, emergency vehicles, and ambulances will be permitted on the restricted routes, with an adequate number of traffic police deployed along all routes during this time.
People from Patna and elsewhere, traveling via various routes, will be able to reach Patna Junction through designated paths. The traffic police have provided detailed instructions for drivers coming from different parts of the city to ensure a smooth flow of traffic and minimal disruption.
