Gujarat Board Declares Class 12 Results

The Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board (GSEB) declared the results of class 12th Science, Arts (General Stream), Vocational, and Gujset-2024 examinations on Thursday. The results, available on the Gujarat Education Board website www.gseb.org, revealed that boys performed better than girls in the class 12th Science stream.

The class 12th Science result stood at 82.45%, with Morbi district achieving the highest at 92.80% and Chhota Udepur the lowest at 51.36%. A total of 1,034 students secured A1 grade, with 90.11% in A group and 78.34% in B group. Boys outperformed girls with 82.53% compared to 82.35%.

In the class 12th Arts stream, the state recorded a remarkable 91.93% result, the best ever. Botad district secured the highest at 96.40% while Junagadh had the lowest at 84.81%. Notably, 1,609 schools achieved a 100% result, while 19 schools reported less than 10%.

Surat district achieved an 85.56% result in class 12th Science, with 328 students securing A1 grade and 1,844 students securing A to A grades, the highest in Gujarat. In the general stream, Surat recorded a 93.38% result, with the highest number of students in Gujarat achieving A1 and A2 grades.

The Gujarat Board has announced that students who did not pass the class 12th Science exam can appear for supplementary exams in all subjects. In Vadodara, more than 25,000 candidates appeared for the 12th board exams, achieving a 82.50% result in Science and 85.23% in Arts, marking a significant improvement from the previous year.
