SGCCI Hosts Online Meeting with UAE Executive Director
SGCCI Global Connect Mission 84 Aims to Boost Exports, Attract Investments
South Gujarat Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SGCCI) conducted an online meeting with Ms. Satnam Deuchakar, Executive Director Development, UAE, to discuss SGCCI Global Connect Mission 84. The mission aims to generate additional exports worth Rs 84,000 crore and attract investments, with plans to establish Chamber of Commerce offices in UAE and UK. Ms. Deuchakar expressed support and promised to facilitate business delegations from Surat to visit UAE and UK.
South Gujarat Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SGCCI) organized an online meeting under the SGCCI Global Connect Mission 84 on May 8, 2024, with Ms. Satnam Deuchakar, Executive Director Development, UAE. The meeting was attended by SGCCI President Ramesh Vaghasia, Vice President and President-elect Vijay Mewawala, Honorary Treasurer Kiran Thummar, Mission 84 Coordinator Sanjay Punjabi, and Mission 84 CEO Paresh Bhatt.
During the meeting, President Vaghasia briefed Ms. Deuchakar about SGCCI Global Connect Mission 84, which aims to generate additional exports worth Rs 84,000 crore from Surat, Gujarat, and India. As part of this mission, SGCCI is working towards establishing Chamber of Commerce offices in the UAE and UK.
President Vaghasia also requested Ms. Deuchakar to extend an invitation to UAE Prince Mohammed bin Salman to visit Surat and explore investment opportunities across various industries.
Ms. Deuchakar lauded the Mission 84 initiative, recognizing its potential in developing various industries in India. She assured that she would personally contact the royal families of the UAE and UK to invite a business delegation of industrialists from Surat to visit both countries.
President Vaghasia expressed gratitude for Ms. Deuchakar's support and commitment, emphasizing that SGCCI will actively pursue these initiatives to enhance trade and investment prospects between Surat and the UAE and UK.
