New Date Announced for Gujarat Junior Clerk Exam

The Junior Clerk exam in Gujarat, postponed due to Lok Sabha elections, will now be held in four shifts on 11, 13, 14, 16, and 20 May. Candidates can download new call letters from 8 May. The exam will fill 5,554 Class-3 vacancies across various cadres.
Ahmedabad, May 1 : The Gujarat Secondary Services Preference Board has announced new dates for the Junior Clerk exam, which was postponed due to the Lok Sabha elections. The exam, originally scheduled for April, will now take place in four shifts on 11, 13, 14, 16, and 20 May. Candidates can download their new call letters from 8 May 2024.
The Board is conducting direct recruitment for 5,554 vacancies under the Class-3 competitive examination. These vacancies are spread across 22 cadres, including Junior Clerk, Head Clerk, and Office Assistant Senior Clerk. The examination, consisting of multiple-choice questions, will be scored out of 100 marks. Candidates will receive 1 mark for each correct answer and face a 0.25 mark deduction for incorrect answers.
The rescheduling of the exam dates was necessary due to the changed dates of the Lok Sabha elections in Gujarat. The Board has urged all candidates to prepare accordingly and adhere to the new examination schedule.
