Prime Minister Narendra Modi, speaking at a campaign rally in Latur, reiterated the government's commitment to combating corruption and terrorism. He emphasized that under the current administration, there has been a shift from news of corruption and terrorism during Congress rule to reports of corrupt individuals being apprehended. Modi asserted that India now possesses the capability to intrude into homes and eliminate threats, making it a deterrent for those contemplating actions against the country's borders.

Addressing the rally in support of the BJP-led NDA alliance candidate, Modi urged the audience to recall the period before 2014, when there were frequent bomb blasts and warnings about touching unfamiliar objects due to security threats. He contrasted that with the present, where India's border security has significantly improved, and the country has the capability to conduct targeted operations.

Modi criticized the Congress, accusing them of rampant corruption during their tenure. He stated that those who have looted the country must return what they have taken. Modi also warned against forces trying to divide India and reiterated his commitment to inclusive governance, highlighting the progress made across various sectors under his government.

Regarding the upcoming National Olympics, Modi expressed his desire to host the event in India in 2029. He also cautioned against misinformation about changes to the Constitution, urging people to remain vigilant.
