To ensure a peaceful voting process, preventive measures have been taken against 19,114 individuals. The police have also taken action against 1550 individuals under injunction orders and registered cases against 46 individuals under the Gambling Act.

While the Surat Lok Sabha seat has already been decided, elections will be held in 24 police areas in Surat, including Choryasi, Majura, Udhna, and Limbayat. Elections will not be held in nine police station areas that fall under the Surat Lok Sabha constituency. The police have stated that their operations will continue in the coming days to maintain law and order and ensure that people can vote without fear.
