The Mahila Vakil Mandal in Surat paid a heartfelt tribute to Chief District Judge Atul Kumar Rawal, who is set to retire on April 30 due to reaching the age limit. Rawal, who served as the 45th Chief District Judge, made a lasting impact during his tenure.

Among the 45 Chief District Judges who have presided over Surat District and Sessions Court since India's independence in 1950, Rawal's legacy stands out. He was known for his commitment to ensuring fair and speedy justice delivery, implementing key reforms in the court.

Senior and junior women lawyers, led by Mrs. Priti Jignesh Joshi, a prominent member of the Surat Mahila Vakil Mandal and an Advocate in the Supreme Court and High Court, visited Rawal to congratulate him on his retirement. They praised Rawal for his support and encouragement to women lawyers, highlighting his role as an inspiration for them to excel in the legal profession.
