Tragedy Strikes as Car Plows Into Sleeping Family on Roadside, Killing Three

Dausa, Rajasthan - A horrifying incident occurred late Thursday night in Mahwa town, where an out-of-control car crashed into 11 people sleeping on the roadside. The tragic accident resulted in the death of three individuals, while eight others sustained serious injuries. The injured were rushed to a nearby government hospital, with two of them receiving treatment in Mahwa and the remaining six being referred to Jaipur.

The victims, all from nomadic families residing in a roadside slum near Tikaram Paliwal Government Senior Secondary School, were hit by a speeding Hyundai Aura. The driver, reportedly driving recklessly, lost control of the vehicle and plowed into the sleeping family.

Among the deceased are Raju (50), Pari (6), and Athori (60), while the seriously injured include Jagga (40), Shani (13), Sheru alias Monu (11), Kajal (30), Dilip (26), Seema (25), Uganta Devi (40), and Priya (7).

Following the accident, the driver fled the scene, abandoning the damaged car. The police have launched a search for the driver. MLA Rajendra Meena visited the hospital to inquire about the injured and directed the police to take strict action against the driver.

Dr. Anurag Dhakad, in-charge of the Trauma Center at SMS Hospital, Jaipur, stated that five injured individuals were admitted to the surgery unit, with one patient having a slight head injury and the others in stable condition.
