In a surprising turn of events, Dr. Bandana Bhattacharya has withdrawn her candidacy for the Vice President post of South Gujarat Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SGCCI) to support Nikhil Madrasi.

Dr. Bandana Bhattacharya, a contender for the Vice President position of SGCCI, has decided to withdraw her nomination in favor of rival candidate Nikhil Madrasi, prioritizing the chamber's collective interests.

The announcement was made by Mayur Golwala, President of Sachin Notified Area and Secretary of Sachin GIDC. This decision follows consultations with several prominent figures from the trade and industry sectors, including textile leader Sanwarmal Budhiyaji, Kamalvijay Tulsyan (President, Pandesara Infrastructure Limited), Sunil Jain (President, South Gujarat Textile Traders Association), FOSTA President Kailash Hakim, Ashok Mahenta (Secretary, Officer Gymkhana), former Chamber President Bharatbhai Gandhi, Rajendrabhai Chokhawala, Prafullbhai Shah, Ashokbhai Shah, Dr. Ajoy Bhattacharya, Sachin Notified Area Chairman and Sachin GIDC Secretary Mayur Golwala, and businessman Mayurbhai Chevli.

Nikhil Madrasi's camp expressed their gratitude towards Dr. Bhattacharya's thoughtful decision, believing it will solidify SGCCI's unity and pave the way for the organization's future success.
