Gold Loses Shine: Prices Dip for Third Straight Day

New Delhi, April 24 : After a strong showing last week, the domestic bullion market has witnessed a three-day correction. The price of gold has fallen across major cities in India.

As of today, 24 carat gold is trading at ₹72,300 per 10 grams in Delhi, down from previous highs. Other major cities like Mumbai, Kolkata, Lucknow, Patna, and Jaipur are witnessing similar trends, with prices hovering around ₹72,150 - ₹72,300 per 10 grams. Chennai remains the only major exception, with 24 carat gold still trading above ₹73,000 per 10 grams.

The price of 22 carat gold has also seen a decline, settling between ₹66,140 and ₹66,290 per 10 grams in most bullion markets.

Silver prices have mirrored the downward trend of gold. In Delhi, silver is currently trading at ₹82,900 per kg.
