Kanpur Dehat, April 24 : Six people lost their lives in separate road accidents that occurred in Kanpur Dehat district on Wednesday morning.

The first incident involved a DCM and a truck that collided head-on near Lakshmi Dhaba on Mughal Road in Musanagar. The impact of the collision claimed the lives of three people identified as Rahul (18), Ajay (42), and Sulkhan (55). All three belonged to Ghatampur in Kanpur Nagar.

The second accident occurred in Bhoganipur when a car carrying a wedding party overturned. Police believe the driver may have dozed off, causing the vehicle to veer off the road and flip into a roadside pit. Three passengers - Kunwarpal, Raghunath, and Chhotalal - died at the scene. The remaining six occupants sustained injuries and were taken to CHC for treatment.

Superintendent of Police BBGTS Murthy confirmed the deaths and stated that the injured are receiving medical attention. The bodies of the deceased have been sent for post-mortem examination.
