Mumbai Crime Branch Recovers Pistols Thrown in Tapi River After Salman Khan Firing Incident

Surat, Gujarat: In a major development following the firing incident outside Salman Khan's residence in Mumbai, the Mumbai Crime Branch has successfully recovered two pistols from the Tapi river in Surat after a two-day search operation.

Accused Disposed of Weapons During Video Call:

The investigation revealed that the accused, Vicky Gupta and Sagar Pal, had thrown the pistols into the river while on a video call with an associate named Anmol. After reaching Surat from Mumbai, they sought directions to the Tapi river from a rickshaw puller and disposed of the weapons from a bridge near the Ashwinikumar crematorium.

Divers Recover Pistols After Extensive Search:

Following information from the accused, a team of divers from Mumbai and Surat, along with special boats, commenced a search operation in the Tapi river. The first pistol was recovered on the initial day, and the second one was found during a thorough search conducted on the second day.

Mobile Phone and Other Items Still Missing:

The Crime Branch suspects that the accused might have thrown other incriminating evidence, including a mobile phone, into the river. The search operation is still ongoing to recover these additional items.
