Man Brings Liquor for Hospitalized Friend, Unaware of Friend's Death

Surat: In a peculiar incident, a man unknowingly brought a packet of country liquor to the New Civil Hospital for his friend, who had been admitted for alcohol-related issues. Unbeknownst to him, his friend had already passed away two days prior due to liver failure caused by excessive drinking.

The man, identified as 45-year-old Raju Male from Azadnagar, Bhatar, had come to visit his friend Sunil Yadav, who was admitted to the hospital in Kidney Bhawan. Hospital security discovered the liquor during a routine search, and upon further inquiry, it was revealed that Sunil Yadav had passed away on the 28th after being admitted on the 25th.

Raju Male explained that he had brought the liquor for his friend, unaware of the dire consequences of his friend's alcohol addiction. This was not the first time Raju had brought alcohol for Sunil during his hospital stay; he had previously brought a similar package three days prior.

Upon learning of Sunil Yadav's death, the security guard handed Raju Male over to the Khatodara police for further action.
