Gun Thrown into Surat's Tapi River After Salman Khan Firing Case: Mumbai Crime Branch Launches Search

Surat, Gujarat: In a dramatic turn of events, the Mumbai Crime Branch has arrived in Surat to investigate the recovery of a weapon allegedly used in the firing incident at Bollywood actor Salman Khan's residence. The two accused, arrested in Kutch for the crime, reportedly confessed to throwing the gun into the Tapi river while passing through Surat on a train.

Following the lead from the accused, a team from Mumbai Crime Branch along with local Surat authorities reached the Tapi river. The team, along with the two accused, re-enacted the sequence of events to pinpoint the exact location where the gun might have been thrown. Simultaneously, divers were deployed into the river to search for the weapon. The presence of a large police contingent in the area has caused a stir among the locals.
