Police Register Murder Case Against Unknown Parents
Surat - In a tragic incident, a deceased newborn baby was discovered in the Tapi River in Variav village of Surat. Upon receiving the information, Singanpur police arrived at the scene and initiated an investigation. Preliminary findings suggest that the child, who was born with deformities, was likely thrown into the river by the parents. Authorities have registered a case of murder against the unknown parents and are conducting further inquiries.
The newborn was found near the SMC water plant in Variav village by Prabhatbhai Ninama, a local resident from Madhya Pradesh. After he informed the police of his discovery, officers from Singanpur arrived on the scene, retrieved the child's body from the river, and sent it to Smeer Hospital for a post-mortem examination.
The post-mortem report revealed shocking details about the child. According to the report, the baby was born with deformities and was approximately 15 to 20 days old. It is believed that the infant's parents cruelly disposed of the child in the Tapi River, where the baby ultimately drowned.
In response to the post-mortem findings, Singanpur police have registered a murder case against the unknown parents. As part of their investigation, officers are gathering information about recent newborns in the local area and examining CCTV footage from nearby locations in an effort to trace the parents responsible for the heinous act.
