Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff's 'Bade Miyan-Chhote Miyan' Fails to Impress at the Box Office

Amid high hopes for success, the action thriller 'Bade Miyan-Chhote Miyan,' starring Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff and released on Eid, has failed to make an impact at the box office. Despite a strong start in the first two days, the film's earnings have steadily declined, and even after eight days since its release, it continues to struggle to attract viewers.

The film's cast extensively promoted 'Bade Miyan-Chhote Miyan,' but following its theatrical release, the audience response has been lukewarm. Consequently, the film has fallen short in terms of earnings. Despite being in theaters for a week, it has not even managed to earn half of its budget. The eighth-day earnings of the film have now been revealed.

According to initial reports from Saknilk, 'Bade Miyan-Chhote Miyan' collected Rs 1.60 crore on its eighth day, bringing its total collection to Rs 50.15 crore. The film earned Rs 15.65 crore on the first day, Rs 7.6 crore on the second day, Rs 8.5 crore on the third day, Rs 9.05 crore on the fourth day, Rs 2.5 crore on the fifth day, Rs 2.4 crore on the sixth day, and Rs 2.55 crore on the seventh day.

Made with a budget of Rs 350 crore, the film did not perform well in its opening weekend. It remains to be seen what changes the film can bring in its second weekend. However, based on the current trend, it appears unlikely that it will recover even half of its budget. This marks another disappointment for Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff, despite the presence of Prithviraj Sukumaran, Manushi Chhillar, Sonakshi Sinha, Alaya F, and Ronit Roy Bose in the film's cast.
