BJP Gears Up for Gujarat Elections with Grand Nominations

Surat, 10 April - The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is set to make a strong statement in the upcoming Gujarat elections by filing nominations for all key seats with thorough preparations. The party has left no stone unturned in its groundwork, aiming to display a formidable show of strength that is expected to significantly impact the morale of opposition parties.

CR Patil, the BJP state president and a four-time consecutive candidate from the Navsari Lok Sabha seat, is scheduled to file his nomination on April 18. On this occasion, 20,000 women will don saffron turbans along with traditional sarees, symbolizing solidarity and support. A rally will be organized leading to the Navsari Collector's office, where Patil will submit his nomination papers.

Sangeeta Patil, the BJP MLA from the Limbayat Assembly seat, expressed that party workers and community leaders from Limbayat are enthusiastic about the nominations. She stated that they are fully prepared and eager to participate in the nomination process, highlighting the excitement surrounding the State President's nomination.

Sangeeta Patil further revealed that on April 18, State President CR Patil will file his nomination papers for the Navsari Lok Sabha seat. Approximately 20,000 women from the Limbayat assembly constituency will join the rally, dressed in traditional sarees and saffron turbans. The Limbayat area is home to women from various states across the country, who will all wear traditional sarees representative of their respective regions.

The notification for the Lok Sabha elections in Gujarat is set to be issued on April 12, initiating the nomination process for all 26 seats in the state. Voting for the state is scheduled for the third phase on May 7.
