Tragedy Strikes in Rajkot: Four Killed After Car Plunges into Bhadar River

Four people, including three women, died tragically in Rajkot district on Wednesday morning after their car plunged into the Bhadar River. The incident occurred on the Bhadar River bridge near Dhoraji when a tire burst, causing the vehicle to lose control.

The victims have been identified as Sangeeta Ben Koyani (55), Leelavanti Ben Thummar (52), Dinesh Bhai Thummar (55), and Hardika Ben Thummar (52). According to reports, they were traveling from Mandasan towards Dhoraji when the accident occurred.

Following the incident, a crowd of local residents gathered at the scene. Firefighters and police personnel promptly arrived to assist. The car was pulled out of the river, and the bodies were transported to Dhoraji Government Hospital for post-mortem examination.

Police believe the deceased were residents of Jaitpur Road in Dhoraji. Investigations are ongoing to determine the exact cause of the accident.
