RSS Chief Mohan Bhagwat Embarks on 3-Day Gujarat Visit Ahead of Lo Sabha Polls

Ahead of the upcoming Lok Sabha elections in Gujarat, Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) chief Dr. Mohan Bhagwat is scheduled for a three-day visit to the state starting April 6th. During his stay, Dr. Bhagwat will engage in interactions with intellectuals in Bharuch and Vadodara.

The notification for the Lok Sabha elections in Gujarat is expected to be released on April 12th, marking the official start of the nomination process. Polling in Gujarat will be held in a single phase on May 7th, falling under the third phase of the national elections.

Dr. Bhagwat's visit to Gujarat comes amidst this charged political atmosphere. While the specific details of his interactions remain undisclosed, the focus on meeting intellectuals in Bharuch and Vadodara suggests a potential emphasis on discussions and strategizing within the RSS ranks.

His itinerary includes departing for Ahmedabad on the evening of April 7th and staying overnight. On April 8th, Dr. Bhagwat will leave Ahmedabad for programs outside Gujarat, marking the conclusion of his visit.
