A CNG rickshaw carrying passengers narrowly avoided disaster in Surat today when it caught fire in the Vedroad area. Thankfully, all passengers were safely evacuated before the flames engulfed the vehicle.

The incident began when the rickshaw driver noticed smoke emanating from the vehicle. He promptly pulled over and ensured all passengers disembarked safely. However, the fire quickly intensified, consuming the rickshaw and reaching a nearby parked bicycle, burning its rear tire.

Prompt action by the fire brigade prevented further damage. Firefighters arrived at the scene upon receiving the alert and swiftly extinguished the blaze. Thankfully, there were no reports of injuries.
