Vadodara : Joy Train Returns to Kamatibagh After Safety Checks

Kamatibagh's Joy Train is set to resume operations tomorrow after a three-month hiatus following the boat accident in Harani Lake. The Vadodara Municipal Corporation (VMC) had halted the train service for safety reasons.

Following thorough inspections and the issuance of necessary certifications, the VMC has cleared the Joy Train for operation again. The train underwent cleaning and testing on Thursday.

The train will resume service on Friday and run from 8:00 am to 8:00 pm, catering to tourists and pilgrims visiting Kamatibagh. The scenic ride offers a complete circuit of the Bagh in about 15-20 minutes. The train operates seven times daily on weekdays and ten times on holidays and Sundays.

The Joy Train is a popular attraction for tourists, especially during the summer holidays. Pilgrims visiting Kamatibagh had also expressed disappointment over the closure. The VMC's decision to restart the train, following necessary safety checks, ensures the return of a beloved experience for all visitors.
